“I couldn't have asked for more from a photographer! James was endlessly easy to work with and shared our values of wanting to capture the authentic moments from the wedding. He was also incredibly wonderful to work with the day of the wedding and his intimate knowledge of Portland made the day easy. We simply hopped in James' car and he took us to some of the more beautiful and intimate corners of the city. After getting the photos, we couldn't have been happier. They tell a real story of the day and capture the magic, humor, and romance of our wedding perfectly. 10/10 experience.“

“Working with Isabelle was one of the easiest parts of our wedding process. When we first reached out to Shado of a Rose they responded quickly and we set up a video call to meet. They are the sort of people you just instantly like - very down to earth, generous with their time, but professional and have the portfolio to boot. We spoke at least once more to review our general vibe and photo list. As we were new to the process, they even provided example photo lists. As they had another wedding that weekend, Isabelle worked solo - I am sure Shado is wonderful as well but we didn't miss him!  We had decided not to do separate first look photos or formal getting ready shots (apart from a few of the bride) as we wanted the first look to be at the ceremony. She captured everything so beautifully. Based on her photos, she somehow was everywhere at once. Her personality fit right in with our guests - many of whom mentioned how great she was afterwards - rather than standing on the sidelines or interrupting our friends having fun. We had been anxious as my brothers in law aren't keen on posed photos, but she made it as painless - and even fun - as possible. Just a few days later she sent our highlights - perfectly chosen! Followed by the full set 4 weeks later. I couldn't have asked for a better experience (at half the price of my sister's wedding earlier that year!). Though I don't expect we will have any big events in the near future, I wouldn't hesitate to work with Isabelle and Shado again.“

“All in one is INCREDIBLE! Our wedding was absolutely perfect. On the day of we got to just relax and know every detail was taken care of. We had an elopement wedding in Bar Harbor and it was a dream come true.Rachel and Connie answered and flexed to our million questions in the beginning of the process. They were both super responsive. Rachel was open to answering all my questions as my plans continued to change and flex and she made no question feel silly.Echo salon gave me my dream hair and makeup. I was in LOVE with the look and I was able to include gratuity and payment ahead of time with all in one so I wouldn’t stress day of.The bouquet they had ready for me was absolutely breathtaking with a super cute boutonnier. Our wedding cake was so delicious and exceeded our expectations. We had the cutest wedding cake topper and cake cutting set as well. We got toasting glasses we will keep for years to come to toast with every anniversary and their nonalcoholic bottle was delicious as well!Our officiant Pam went so above and beyond being available for all of our questions and concerns and answering us instantly. She met with us before hand and also introduced herself and made herself comfortable with the hotel we were having the ceremony at. She even brought a cute little table we used to put our vows and rings on for the ceremony. She truly made our wedding day seamless. Even stepping in as the person to help me zip my dress since we were eloping and it was just the two of us. The ceremony she presented was beautiful and presented perfectly. We couldn’t be more happy with her marrying us!Our photographer Sydney was amazing. She made us feel so comfortable and like naturals in front of a camera. She braved super cold weather to get us amazing shots along park loop despite it being windy and 19 degrees out. She helped capture all of our special moments including the cake first dance and anything we asked or wanted. She was super flexible and willing to do whatever it took to ensure she got all the shots we wanted of the day.If you’re thinking of eloping or getting married in bar harbor and using all in one I highly highly recommend them!“
