I wanted an “enhanced” look: enough makeup to translate well in photographs but not so much makeup that it looks unnatural in person. Brenda struck the perfect balance. I have never had makeup I liked as much as the makeup I had on my wedding day. Brenda really brought out all of my best features–and did so in a way that worked perfectly for the venue and for the season. She also did my friends’ makeup, and they all looked incredible. My wedding was outside and it was over 90 degrees that day. It was so hot for the first few hours, and I kept checking my makeup assuming that it had run or there were creases in my eyelids or I looked oily or something–but each time I checked it, it looked perfect. At 2:00 AM–after lots of sweating and dancing and partying, I went into the bathroom to take off my makeup and, before I did, ran back out and said to my husband “LOOK AT MY FACE MY MAKEUP LOOKS PERFECT!” He was maybe less excited than I was but admittedly impressed.
