Hot water can be an issue. Takes a long time to get to room, other times it's fast. Very good location. Pool, roman bath, hot tub, very well equipped gym! Rooms have fridge. Close to twin center. Very friendly staff. Lots of families. Definitely worth a return visit.Food & drinks: Restaurant not open. Short staffed for winter.
We have been going to the Meadowmere Resort for over 20 years and always loved it so much. The last 2 years we have felt so different about this place. I think it may be under new management/ownership. Unfortunately it's gone down hill.We noticed last summer on vacation so many things had changed. They have speaker's now with loud music that plays outside by the outdoor hot tub and pool. I used to love reading out by the hot tub since they have a ton of tables situated around, as well as a nice fire pit at night but it's so loud now with the music playing that it wasn't relaxing.They used to offer movie nights which we loved especially our daughter. We have been coming here for a weekend in February for over 20 years. This year we had two of our adult children and their families join us. I feel bad that we told them how nice it is.Meadowmere has gone down hill in the last two years. And after this trip we will look for something else in the area.The main attraction for us is the outdoor hot tub. Last year it was closed completely. This year it is broken.The pub is closed due to staffing issues. The nearby restaurant, Jonathans is closed for the season.
