Wanted boarding service with no extras as i told when boarding dog, later on was asked when they were goong to groom my dog, had to correct person again and state no extras are needed, later on did not tell me letting dog out to pee and do business outside of inside perimeter (even when i asked to just open door to snall area to pee) no one said anything about extra charge, manipulated and hid these prices, when came to pick up bil was charges alot more than what i agreed on, and was told i picked a exercise option which i never dis and stated multiple times only wanted dog to be left in kennel and to do his business. Liars and people trying to hide charges will never get far, and no no you did not disclose that potty breaks will be charged and it was not written on the receipt when i left and yes you are liars and do not openly say what youll be charging , i know exactlty what happened, dont try to charge peoole for what you did not inform then off

5 stars!!! We've had nothing but great experiences since boarding out pets at Paws & Claws Canine Country Club & Feline Inn. The staff is awesome, professional, and friendly. The facility is always clean. Sarah, the manager gave us an initial tour a few years ago and she is great! She answered all our questions and made us feel comfortable leaving our pets in their care. We can tell our pets are well taken care of because they always come home very happy and have no problem going back. Our dog gets to play with other friendly dogs, and our cat gets cuddles and plenty of personal attention. We tried a couple of other places in the area but were not happy with those facilities. We are so grateful to have found such an amazing place to bring our pets as we travel frequently. Thank you to the staff and owners! Our pets love you, and we will never go anywhere else!

Usually love this place but had a recent issue. Cat came home with bleeding and anxiety and had to go to the Vet. Ended up on antibiotics for 10 days. Tried calling and sent email asking if any other animals may have had an issue. Also concerned my cat may have infected others. Complete silence. No return call or message despite my effort. If this were a single time I’d be semi ok but two years ago our dog came home with a cough that needed treating. I get that they don’t want to get blamed for these health issues and it may be frustrating for them but a simple courtesy to a long time client seems like the least they could’ve done. Won’t be back.

We housed a homeless lady's dog for a little over a month & needed the hair trimmed to keep him cleaner. Some groomers are booked out several weeks. The groomer at the club offered and she did a wonderful job with him. The place is warm and clean. The dogs that are boarding at the kennel are taken care of, their holding areas are set up in sections in a way the dogs can hang out, go bathroom, and go outside. It's a cool set up! The road into the kennel is quiet and pretty, a great view for you and your pet. The staff are great and care about animals.

Our dog Lucy has been coming to your business for 5-6 years, since we moved to Searsport and has seemed to weather the experience with a few behavioral issues after being left for several days. We would pick her up and she was a "hyper-fit" but soon settled back into our home routine after reassurance, a shower and much brushing. We picked her up yesterday and she was so glad. She was also shining clean and had been brushed out , toenails trimmed (really well). She was less stressed, even when coming home into the house. She was glad to be home as always but way more comfortable with being gone. We had a repair man stop by today, and for the first time ever, she didn't run out barking and trying to scare him off, she was watchfull, but not threatening . Not sure how you managed this, but whoever is working there now , THANK YOU, for taking such good care of her and helping with her training.Kerry Dougherty & Dick Dyer

My dog and I loved the Canine Country Club & Feline Inn! She is usually frightened of new people and places, but the gentle, patient welcome she received upon our arrival for day boarding allowed for a smooth and reassuring dropoff. The facility is lovely and communications with the manager and carers was excellent. Very accommodating, we will definitely bring our pet here again.
