I am deeply frustrated and disappointed with how my hair turned out after seeing Krista at this salon. I went to have my faded blue hair trimmed up and dyed back to a natural color before my wedding. My appointment was on my birthday, so I was excited for this drastic change. I wanted to be as close to my natural color as possible, which is a level 7, but I knew this would be difficult considering it was green, and was willing to go slightly darker if needed. While I was having my hair done she had at least 5 other clients come in to have their hair cut and/or dyed. I feel that she was rushing to finish my hair and wasn’t paying attention to what she was doing. I left the salon with hair darker than I was expecting, but didn’t know how dark it was until the end because I wasn’t wearing my glasses. Less than a week after my appointment I started to notice the cut was very choppy and uneven and green was starting to show through, especially in the sunlight. I decided to go to a different salon to have a consultation where they said that even if they covered this color with black, the green would still show through, and that it should have been lightened before any dye was put on it. I ended up going to this other salon where they had stripped all the color that she put on, plus the faded blue, and started from scratch. I also had to have my hair cut shorter than I wanted because of the choppy cut she gave me, with less than 3 weeks until my wedding. She said that she was willing to fix it for free, but that she was not willing to provide any compensation. She said that she actually had given a discount, which was not mentioned at all from the beginning, stating that she only charged $150 when it should have been $270, and any refund wouldn’t cover the cost of any materials she used. Then she said that I can just go to Sally’s and get darker dye and do it myself, because that is what she would do if I returned to her. She recieved multiple photos prior to the appointment of what my hair looked like and what I wanted, but is saying that she didn’t realize how green it actually was. During my time at the salon, she said that she was using permanent red dye to neutralize the green and demi-permanent brown dye on top, but when reaching out after noticing it was still green she said that she had only used permanent dye and that it should have lasted longer. She has continuously made it sound like it is my fault the color is fading. In the messages, she was rude and unprofessional, which has made me uncomfortable with the thought of going back to her. She has switched back and forth between what she is saying and I don’t believe she has been fully honest with exactly what she put in my hair, the price of what she was doing, etc. I have spent the last month walking around with a terrible haircut and a terrible color until going to have my hair fixed, when I should have been able to feel confident and happy leading up to my special day, and I feel there should have been able to be some sort of compensation considering more money went towards getting her mistakes fixed at a different salon. I have provided photos of before she touched my hair, after she touched my hair, and one of after getting it fixed at a different salon.

went here for a appt to get my hair shaped so i could grow it out, really good service, only took around 20 minutes! it is a smaller salon so it can get a little noisy but still, 5/5 stars for me :3

I’ve been coming here since I moved to the area a few years ago, and have booked my appointments with Krista. I get a full foil and a cut/ style. The salon itself a is clean, comfortable, modernly decorated and relaxed environment. Krista is wonderful. Very upbeat and personal, I feel like she goes out of her way to remember details of our conversations from visit to visit, and I feel like I’m catching up with a friend each time I go. My hair always comes out perfect, she listens to what I’m looking for and makes recommendations based on how my hair behaves. Added bonus, the prices are extremely reasonable. Highly recommend Krista, and the salon in general.
