I just had to have an emergency extraction and I must say it was actually a pleasant experience and that says a lot because going to the dentist has never been high on my list of things I want to do on any day never mind in an emergency. Janet, Dr Jones, Karen and the entire team from reception to checkout were so caring and understanding and helpful from providing me with all my options to explaining what was going to happen before, during and after the procedure and answering any questions I had. I will definitely continue to go to Machias Dental for all my future dental needs.

I just had an emergency pulpectomy at Machias Dental and it was a superb experience from start to finish. The receptionist Devon was very helpful listening to my issue and then referring me to Janet, the patient coordinator. Janet made sure that I had the pain medicine that I needed to get through initially when I was in debilitating pain. Then when I need a pulpectomy she and the office made sure that I could get an immediate appointment even though they were fully booked that day. Kathy was exceptional as the dental assistant and was highly informative about the procedure so I felt more calm. All staff are caring, thoughtful and welcoming people. They really care about each patient and are very willing to assist each patient through the maze of coverage and what things are definitely needed for healthy teeth.
