My uncle was on Andwell’s service for two weeks, in those two weeks my uncle felt supported and loved from the beginning. His nurse Megan listened to him and honored his wishes. Amy our social worker was kind and comforting. As a hospice nurse myself, I was able to be the niece and help care for my uncle as a niece. When we weren’t able to manage his symptoms at home, the on call nurse Keith came right over and got my uncle moved to the hospice house within an hour. Dad was a recent patient of Andwell receiving hospice care at home. As a funeral director I deal a lot with the hospice nurses and hospice houses and understand how amazing you folks are. I have mentioned to many people to consider hospice at times. Dealing directly with it on a personal side this time I needed to say thank you.
