We use Chem Dry for all of our carpet and tile cleaning. The owner is responsive and on time for our appointments (we have several apartments in the Kittery area we have used them for). Along with being a landlord I am also a realtor and I recommend Chem Dry Portsmouth/Seacoast to all of my clients needing cleaning services.

Had some upholstery cleaning done and chairs looked same after cleaning - none of the stains came out. Total waste of money. When we pointed out the issues, Rick said, Oh well, best I could do. Charged the full price, even though he couldnt clean the chairs. Bad experience and I'd avoid using them in the future.

Life Saver,Rick (owner/operator)saved us all.we had a catastrophic failure of our 29 gallon fish tank,there were no fish thank goodness, but we awoke at 6am to a flooded carpet and hallway. l called Rick's phone at 6:30am, he called me back by 7:15, I explained our issue, we rent so the thought of being evicted crossed my mind, however, after calming me down, Rick told us, although he had a full day, he would pencil us in by 3:00/3:30pm.at 10:00am, Rick called again to inform us that he juggled his schedule to come dry out our rug by 11am. Rick was here one hour. in that time he got out all the tank water, and went the extra mile and, knowing we have a 9 month baby cleaned and sanitized the entire downstairs hallway, the living room, and even spot treated where the couch normally sits. Professionalism and Class all the way. after an emergency call, and extra steps to clean all this was achieved for $150.00 dollars.... we called one other company in town. I explained 20 gallons of water in the carpet, their price was $2,000 dollars sight unseen for "remediation" it was a small tank, not a water main.to end, Rick saved us, and after using his services, we look forward to properly scheduling him to come back in future and clean our entire home. choose Chem-Dry for your carpet, and furniture cleaning needshe is a master at his craft.Services: General carpet cleaning

Chem dry will always fit me in, in a reasonable amount of time, always on time and Rick has been doing a fantastic job for over 5 years in our home. We changed to Chem dry when another local company priced us out. Besides the rugs, Rick has cleaned throw rugs, a sofa, chairs, and does a thorough job, along with suggestions and a spot cleaner formula to help keep the carpets clean between service. He is a pleasant hard working man and respects our property and space. The price is well worth the time, cleaning, and effort he puts in. When this business has a multitude of other businesses and restaurants on their clientele list, you know it is a most professional job by Rick at Chem Dry.
