My cat was at end of life. At 18 1/2 years old, he had slowed down and was no longer eating. He was struggling and we took him in to PetMedic in Freeport as our regular vet didn’t have any same day appointments. The staff was kind and supportive, and were incredibly respectful as we needed to make decisions about end of life care. A huge thank you to the team who offered amazing comfort at such a difficult time. Highly recommend.

I asked why my dog would run a fever with hip dysplasia and was told I was no longer able to access their services for questioning them. I would avoid this "vet" at all costs. This was after two $500 visits telling me it was Lyme and then saying it was his hip. With no explanation for the fever.

Never will I go anywhere else! The staff is AMAZING, understanding, pleasant, affectionate to my cat and most of an absolute pleasure. Both times I've brought my cat there they've gotten him right away and taken the absolute best care of him. I drove 30 minutes and have a local ER that I refuse to go to because of the staff and their care alone.
