Octagon Cleaning and Restoration - PERMANENTLY CLOSED

We had a mold test last fall and it showed higher elevations of penicillin. We contracted with Octagon to do a remediation. After they were through, a repeat mold test showed that there was virtually nothing left. We were very pleased.

We had an unfortunate flood in our basement over 1300:square feet. There was no way my wife and I could do this cleanup. I contacted Octagon cleaning and restoration. They were very responsive. Within an hour they had someone at our house setting up,multiple pumps and dehumidifiers as well as several large blowers for drying out my basement. Once the basement was pumped out they left all the equipment to dry out the basement for a week. Once dried, They showed up to steam clean the floors and do mold mitigation. We had mold remediation work done in our attic. The Octagon crew worked very hard in the hot and cramped space. Everyday they spread plastic on the floor of the house where they walked to access the attic so they would not damage the floor. They cleaned up everyday before they left and the final cleanup was very thorough. The sheathing in the attic looked like new when they were done and tested negative for mold by an independent testing company. Time will tell if the mold will come back but as of now it looks great and we are pleased with the work.We found them to be more responsive to phone calls than to email.
