An Aveda concept salon with a very zen feeling. I am visiting for the summer and needed my color done. Ashley was excellent. I was taken on time, we consulted about my color and the summer sun effects on the color. The color came out beautifully and the blowout and style was just what I wanted. She even offered a hot tea while she worked. I'll be back next summer!

I recently moved to Downeast Maine and needed a new hair salon and stylist. I travel about 90 minutes to get to the Alchemist. It is worth the drive! The salon is lovely and very friendly. Ena is my stylist and she has always taken the time to listen to my requests . I have been there multiple times in the past 7 months and I walk out so happy and pleased every time. I truly appreciate it when a stylist takes the time to hear what I want to do with my hair and Ena always does! I highly recommend this salon.

Ena is a terrific hair stylist. I came in with an unruly pile of curls and she gave me the cutest haircut. She listened to what I wanted and was communicating every step of the way. I highly recommend her.
