“We've been fortunate to have a professional cleaner for the last few years. This person comes into your home and over time gets to know you as well as you learn about them. Due to unfortunate circumstances this person had to relocate and it was a sad goodbye. That said now the search continued. We interviewed a few companies and tried two different ones and realized it wasn't a good fit and mutually agreed to go separate ways. The search continues again. It's now been several months since we lost our preferred cleaning company and dealing with trial and error. I had 2 interviews set up and Dorie at Hey Day cleaners was the first of the two. Dorie was on time, presented herself with confidence and had the resume to back it up. She vetted well and it felt like it could be a good fit. We have 2 large dogs (3 if you figure in the shedding) so I prefer to take them out of the house while people are working especially cleaning. For the first official visit she was on time and went above and beyond our expectations. Everyone's home is unique and of course I already knew the spots that she'd miss and I'd discuss it with her after the job was done. To our surprise there really wasn't anything to mention other than WOW! During our interview I explained that I'm big into communication and feel free to text or call me with any questions or concerns vs walking into surprises or as I call it blindsided. Her communication was as on point as her thorough cleaning. The Myrtle Beach area has expanded dramatically over the last few years and lots of people are looking for extra money and think cleaning is an easy way to make money which is why the labor pool is flooded with inexperienced people who adopt a title vs a professional cleaner who takes pride in their business and reputation. I'd 100% recommend Hey Day cleaners and would be more than willing to be used as a reference something I don't throw around lightly. I've been a resident of Myrtle Beach for almost 25 years and have a reputation of trust that I've earned. I truly feel that we have been fortunate to be in the right place at the right time and fate brought us together. I'm looking forward to a long working relationship with her company and have already passed her information onto others.
