Direct Cremation of Maine was wonderful with assisting me through the end-of-life prearrangements for my father’s affairs accommodating me from out of state. They guided me efficiently through the prepaid arrangements process with kindness, compassion and understanding making it easy for me long distance. Tammy was responsive and professional with an unforeseen facility, hospice and imposter cremation company mishap. It was great having funeral prearrangements in those delicate moments. The Direct Cremation of Maine grounds and establishment has a warm and welcoming atmosphere for the heavy hearted. They are reasonably priced and centrally located between counties servicing multiple areas. I highly recommend DIRECT CREMATION OF MAINE, BELFAST for their friendly, knowledgeable and quality of service. Thank you for assisting our family.

They were kind and considerate. Answered all my questions, and very informative about procedures and how to fill out paperwork. A nice variety of urns and pendents.. Reasonable rates. I would refer others A+.

We used Direct Cremation of Maine to cremate one family member just recently. The price is good at just about $1,000 and they offer other small services and goods such as urns and memory cards. We ordered nicer card through vista print.However, we requested 2 people to come to our residence to remove the body respectfully, but only one person came. They claimed another call came around the same time and only two people were available. In order to respectfully remove his body, I felt the need to assist and did so. I did not have to pay for a second person, but we got no discount because they came poorly prepared with a single person. I'm not how they could have respectfully removed the body with one person.

I have only been working with Katherine for a few months but I wanted to let you know that they treat their vendors with respect . I actually do not live in Maine but if I did I would use their services . If they treat their vendors like this i can only imagine the level of sevice they extend to the families that they serve.

my husband just past...we did not want the traditional ceremony of going through a morbid funeral service...this was painful enough..all the funeral parlors in the Aroostoock county were ridiculously priced not including the services just for cremation,,,Direct Cremation were mindful of our budget and our pain ...kind empathetic individuals who work hard to provide the essential services effectively....It made this difficult time so much easier...I will always be greatful and I recommend to all in thew state who have lost a l;loved one ... Direct Cremation Of Maine made what was a difficult time in our lives a very comforting experience. Amy was wonderful! I couldn't have asked for a more caring and helpful individual to guide us along the way. I feel she went above and beyond what one should expect and their services are very reasonably priced. Amy even helped answer questions that didn't pertain to their line of work and she also adjusted her schedule to coordinate with mine. Even though we lost a loved one, Direct Cremation of Maine made the process seamless. I would highly recommend them and if the occasion arises again, I wouldn't hesitate to use these wonderful people.
