10/10 recommend! Great gym, great atmosphere! The trainers are awesome! I hit the 6:30 am class in Augusta 3 days a week! Lost around 30lbs so far and gained muscle and knowledge. Laura is amazing and keeps you motivated and works with you at any level you are at! 2 locations is super convenient, Augusta being 24/7 and Winthrop down the road if that’s easier!
United Fitness is a hidden gem in the world of gyms. What sets United Fitness apart is the sense of camaraderie among members. It truly feels like a fitness family where everyone cheers each other on. The diverse range of classes and activities cater to various fitness levels and interests, ensuring there's something for everyone. The gym itself is well-maintained, clean, and equipped with all the essentials. The intimate setting fosters a sense of belonging. The owners have created a space where you're not just a number; you're part of a community that supports and motivates each other.
I have been a member of United Fitness for some 6-7 years now. All the way back when they were on Riverside Drive and now on Western Ave. Always clean, never cluttered, bathrooms and showers shiny and plenty of equipment. I've never had an issue there, if I feel the need to grunt and dig in making noise while lifting never does anyone make a stink about it. People that lift there are responsible enough to pick up their weights and wipe down equipment when done. So clean, uncluttered, friendly, tolerant of serious lifters and open 24/7. A+ in my book.
