“Best Braider hands down in Baltimore. I just combed my locs out and decided to get braids Ms. Isha was so gentle on my hair and not only that all my parts are the same size and neat. I have been getting endless compliments everywhere I go and she has good vibes and good conversation. Her co -braider is amazing as well very soft spoken. I just booked an appt for my daughter for back to school. I haven't taken any pictures yet but once I do, I will post it.“

I moved to Baltimore two years ago and needed to find a new stylist. I wanted a salon I could walk to from my apartment, and it’s safe to say I got incredibly lucky when I stumbled upon Dandelion. The salon itself is calming, stylish, and chic, with a special warmth that’s created by Aubrey, Molly (and now Selina).

I always look forward to my appointments because I know I’m in for a treat. From the moment I walk in, I’m greeted with a smile and a “how are ya.” Molly and Aubrey go above and beyond to make sure you’re cared for, whether that’s offering a snack, a drink (alcoholic or nonalcoholic), or a relaxing head massage at the bowl. Their customer service is 10/10.

Beyond the incredible atmosphere, Aubrey’s skill as a hairstylist is top-notch. She’s always open to trying whatever I have in mind and somehow makes it even better than I imagined. I always feel confident and cared for when I’m in her chair. And shoutout to Molly, who is always so friendly, welcoming, and just as talented as her BFF Aubrey. I love the conversations that circulate throughout the salon—I always leave with some kind of knowledge. (Did you know all Skittles taste the same? ?)

I have never booked a makeup artist before, and I don't wear a lot of makeup in general, so I was nervous about prepping my face for my wedding. I felt really lucky to work with someone who does makeup for Baltimore Ravens cheerleaders! Coordinating times and sessions with Keaira immediately put me at ease. I loved Keaira's emphasis on moisturization, and on playing up my natural features. I felt like an enhanced version of myself, but still myself. The beat lasted all day, and Keaira provided some touch up makeup to apply if I needed to (i didn't). I enjoyed talking to Keaira - her personable and calm energy really helped start my wedding morning off in a centered way. I received so many compliments for her work at my wedding, which just added joy to the day. I felt fully beautiful and fully myself because of her excellent artistry.

“Live Fancy Makeup really helped transform me from a lil tomboy to a bride, lol. Shannon was great to work with. She is extremely talented and professional. She was very punctual and consistent in her communication with me. She graciously conducted two trials before the wedding day and she was very receptive and welcoming to feedback. I sent her reference photos and she was able to implement changes that aligned with my vision. I really wanted a natural look and she delivered. I got my makeup done at 9:30 for a 1pm ceremony. The makeup lasted all day (I washed it off that evening before bed) with no cracking or creasing. I just needed to reapply lip stick, but it was a lot going on so it didn’t happen, lol. I highly recommend her and I would choose Live Fancy Makeup all over again.“
