Southern Maryland Heating & Air is highly praised for its excellent service and professionalism. Travis and his team are known for their thoroughness in diagnosing and fixing issues, such as heating system problems and incorrect dryer venting. They arrive on time, explain everything clearly, and provide competent solutions. Many customers express their gratitude and strongly recommend their services for heating and cooling needs.
The second technician who came out to my house was great—very professional and figured out the root cause immediately. However, the customer service over the phone is terrible. The representative for the Maryland area was extremely rude and short. This is the vendor Pulte uses for their new build homes, and given the amount of money being spent here, their phone support is completely unacceptable.
Similar to the other reviews. When you need the company who installed your hvac to atleast provide guidance on how to handle a complex issue they just say take it up with the other hvac company you called for service meanwhile they’re the company who installed the equipment 3 years ago on this new build. For someone who works in the Homebuilding business I can assure you there are better hvac companies to hire. Shame on Southern Maryland Heating for not wanting to help a customer who they made hundreds of thousands off of NVR for installing these systems 3 years ago.
These individuals try to run others off the road and place everyone around them in harms way. Dangerous and aggressive drivers, especially with your name displayed on the side of their truck, suggest that you hire unqualified and unhappy people. The quality of your HVAC work reflects this behavior, and the reviews you have received confirm it here. Imagine how they would act within a customers home. Stay away.
