“I’ve been getting my cuts here for a while now, and I can honestly say it’s the best (OG) barber experience I’ve had out here in the DMV. The attention to detail is exceptional, the (Taper) fade is always clean, and they really understand different hair types and styles. Friendly environment, professional, and consistent—highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality barber / Mentor.”

If I can give them 10 stars, I would! I just moved from New York & been struggling to find a professional Barber, One that presents themself with dignity and quality! I was in there jamming to good ole school music the whole time. I looked up this place on google and spoke to the owner Derrick directly over the phone and he asked me my sons name and squeezed me in for the day,( It was Sunday and most Barber shops were closed) so this was very convenient. As I walked in, I was greeted and acknowledged and my son which is 10 and 8 years of age were greeted by name throughout the entire appointment. Had a wonderful experience with the good people at Derrick and Darren’s. Walked in and immediately was greeted with warmth, community, and professionalism. Black owned barbershop, kind folk and my cut was superb. Shout out to D, Day, Ed and the whole team!
