My Dr. in the same building recommended but they have no appointments for two months. I can't lift my arm! How does that help? You can't switch between therapists who are available. Stupid rule!

I have been gong to Kevin at the Chevy Chase Office. Am 85,had been diagnosed with serious problems which Dr. Kaiser found I do not have! No more prednisone! She sent me to Kevin who has turned my life around. Exercises appropriate to my energy and ability as well as thorough explanations,encouragement,and kindness. When I first went to him I could barely walk across the room and to do so was painful. Very discouraged. After once a week for a couple of months I can now get up out of a chair, walk 6 plus downtown doc blocks, and drive again! And,with Kevin's help,encouragement and exercise program, I continue to improve.

If you want to receive direct services by a licensed physical therapist, this is not the place to go. I did see a PT for the initial evaluation. On the second visit, I saw a physical therapy assistant for the first 10 minute massage of my shoulder then was passed off to an aide who told me which exercises to do. There was no real coaching or checking to see if I was doing them correctly. On the third visit I asked to see the PT and she saw me at the beginning for the massage and checked on the exercises.
