Best place for my baby very sweet people!

We absolutely love Southern Oasis!
Two of our pups have attended daycare here long term, our Doodle Teddy still attends weekly. We've also boarded them during vacations — each experience has been outstanding. Teddy gets so excited that as soon as we reach the bottom of the driveway, he starts barking and can’t wait to get out of the car. Once we park, he leaps out, ready to start his day — and this happens every single time.

Erin and Nikki are incredible. They're not only caring and attentive, but also communicative and clearly passionate about what they do. The entire staff is friendly, welcoming, and truly treats each dog as their own.

You might find a more modern facility elsewhere, but you won’t find the level of care, love, and attention that this team delivers every day. We’re so grateful to have found them!

Outstanding Care for Senior Pets!

We moved to the area in 2021 and have been bringing our Min Pins, Tigger and JJ, to Southern Oasis ever since. The care they’ve received has always been top-notch. As JJ aged and his health declined, the staff went above and beyond to give him the extra attention and TLC he needed. Their dedication to senior pets is phenomenal. Sadly, JJ crossed the rainbow bridge this year, but Tigger continues to enjoy his stays at Southern Oasis.

I know Tigger is in good hands whenever I drop him off. The staff understands his needs as he enters his senior years, and they always greet him with excitement. He’s spoiled rotten during every stay, and it gives me such peace of mind. Tigger has also stayed at their Clinton location in the Small Dog House and has done just as well there.

Both the Waldorf and Clinton locations truly go the extra mile to keep Tigger happy and healthy. I can’t recommend Southern Oasis enough for anyone looking for a caring, attentive place for their pets, especially seniors!

I absolutely love this place. The staff is amazing. I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks. I trust NO ONE with my fur kids but them.They send you pictures, call you back and even returned favorite toys of my furkids I left behind. They are so amazing I even brought the staff lunch on two occasions. Cato Christopher Adams and Noka LaShay Adams. We thank you...5 paws up!

Always great experience

I am in tears as I author this review. I was visiting the DMV area for an event and also for work, so my husband and I decided to travel with our miniature Dachshund and board him in the area where we would be attending the event.

The website for this establishment was constructed beautifully. The reviews were amazing and the customer service via phone was awesome. I knew this was the perfect place to board my Charley. The required documents requested were a plus for me. It identified just how meticulous this establishment was. Loved, loved the detailed questions that needed to be answered. I even had to get Charley an influenza shot so he could be boarded there. I see why it was required.

Arrived at the facility and oh my gosh what a BIG disappointment. I had a bad feeling when we were directed to a dirt road but just figured it would all come together. It never came together. I should have did a map view of the area.

As we parked, we saw all the man made boards to construct the establishment and was very reluctant to get out. Walked inside with my Charley in my arms, requested a tour and my eyes could not believe how this could possibly be a pet resort.Tiny dogs in crates in this tiny room that were literally so tight together they could paw each other. Did not see windows, feel or smell any freshness to this 2x5 area. Oh lord and when I asked where else would Charley be, I was introduced to the outside. I ran for my Charley’s life and mine. My baby would not have survived there.

I have never in the 10 years of boarding Charley seen such a —can’t find the words. I am still in disbelief and truly not understanding how owners could leave their furry love one in a place that simply looks unhealthy. In tears. Thank God we were able to find a safe and healthy place to board our baby. It was worth the extra hour drive and money for a peace of mind during our stay in DMV area.

I pray all who decide to board their babies at this facility, that they are safe and remain healthy.I did not take any photos.
