Recently, Valco Custom Remodeling totally remodeled my two upstairs bathrooms. Believe me, the bathrooms were desperately in need of updating and repair. For a period of about a month Valco’s two-man crew displayed their professionalism and friendly manner to carefully install new flooring, tiling, drywall, plumbing fixtures (piping, shower heads, and toilets) vanities, shelving, mirrors, a medicine cabinet and light fixtures. The crew even painted the drywall and installed new entry doors to the bathrooms and adjoining rooms.
John Enciu successfully managed the project and suggested the optimal design choices for the bathrooms. The bathrooms are a tribute to John’s expertise in design and attention to detail at a fair and reasonable cost. My husband and I have been aware of Relics for many years, and have bought various bits of salvage as we work to rehabilitate our historic property. When we discovered their sign up in New Windsor indicating they were working on restoring a building rather than taking one apart, we were so excited. We were lucky enough to get on their schedule, and they did what we had resigned ourselves to be impossible – to take a reclaimed 1806 long leaf, yellow heart pine flooring and put it down in our Once-and-Future Dining Room without endless shimming and suffering. To our delight, Doug and Eric brought machinery out to even up the floorboards, and had them laid licketly split and turned a certain amount of despair into absolute delight. Not only does the floor look fabulous, as if it’s always been there, but they worked so clean and quickly there was nearly no disruption to our lives. We have them scheduled to complete the room with fireplace mantle installation, door trim, and plaster work. Am I planning our
first dinner party? You bet I am. We’ve been acquainted with his family for years, and they are the most knowledgeable, kind, delightful people. We recommend them 100%.

I’ve used Broadhurst for my landscaping and hardscaping work for almost 20 years now. He’s great to work with….listens and then gives ideas based on your requests….does great work and makes sure it is done RIGHT (vs easy and not long lasting) …..is fair on pricing and responsible. His work for me includes patios, walls, landscaping expansions and new areas, provided good quality trees and shrubs/plants and made sure they were planted in good quality soil. I cannot recommend his business more highly!!
