Find somebody else. They prioritize speed and cutting costs over doing the job right. Family members hired them to renovate a house and whew boy, did they mail it in... They did not flush out the construction dust and debris from the HVAC system after completing the job. When the homeowners moved back in, they turned on the HVAC and were blasted with dust. This caused serious health issues for one of the residents, who was disabled and almost lost their eyesight. Turner Troxell were recommended to me by, not one, but TWO sets of close family friends. I met with Mr. Turner in mid-June to discuss essential renovations that would include accessibility and safety features that would enable my family member who just had a stroke to move in with us. He grasped what I needed to do and made some sound suggestions on the spot. We agreed he'd get back to me within a few weeks with some ideas and general estimates. It's now September, I've received nothing, have been brushed off twice and now cannot even elicit a response via phone, email or text. It's a pleasure to compliment Doug Turner and his people at Turner/Troxell in Towson, Maryland, for the outstanding job they did on our place this summer. They did a major renovation and expansion of our kitchen, and we couldn't be more pleased. The job turned out just like we planned (at the cost we budgeted), but more important were their experience, judgment, skill, and willingness to go the extra mile to minimize the disruption that such construction inevitably causes. The cost of options was clearly spelled out, and the whole process was very businesslike.
