Ron from Towson Appliance came to repair Thermador Fridge. There were two issues. (1) Freezer door was not closing properly (2) Fridge was not cooling but I can see that the cooling coils were frosting well. Ron spent quite some time diagnosing the door. He took only a few minutes to diagnose the fan motor needs replacement. He called back the next day suggesting replacing hinges for the door and replacing fan motor. He quoted us parts+installation cost to replace hinges was 840$ and fan motor 700$. This was in addition to 150$ we paid for diagnosis. I have a Thermador service plan for my wall oven, and they referred me to Towson Appliance. Towson called me and scheduled an appointment. HOWEVER, the person who called suggested I first try turning the circuit breaker off and on. That solved my problem! Towson Applaince could have come out and done the same things, but they saved me that small fee I would have paid and gained a happy customer!!
