I shuttered when I started receiving emails from this CPA firm. We have not used them for several years after being charged $2,000 for a simple 1040 tax form. Their fees are based upon your W2 and not industry standards. We only received an invoice with a flat fee.

My accountant with this firm--Harold--was referred to me by a business partner. For one of my small businesses--which generates only $500k/ year in total revenue--he sent me a bill for $24,000. I am not sure how this company operates or how they justify their billing, but they provided far more confusion than they ever provided answers. Even worse, their invoice was a one liner that just said the total cost. No transparency, rare communication, no education and massive bills. These guys really hurt my business. And they held my returns over my head as leverage until I paid inflated invoices. Wild experience that I hope to never relive.
