I can’t say enough good things about this company and, I wasn’t surprised when I logged in to leave a review, that so many others have said the same!!!! Their customer service is second to none! They’re so flexible and have even face-timed with us to walk us through issues! The owner is brilliant and sincere. I’m genuinely grateful that a neighbor recommended them!

I was with an hvac company I trusted for 48 years and that company retired and placed me with First Response H/A in 2023. My heat pump is 8 years old.
During my Good Friday, April 2025 spring checkup I was told I need a new unit because the coils were leaking. The FR tech recorded no leaks in August 2024. Friday, FR tech calls his supervisor who came in less than 10 minutes to my house to give me options. He doesn’t even look at the leaks but starts measuring and writes a contract for a whole new unit costing approximately 17k , rebates and discounts brought it down to 13k for new heat pump.

Excel came out to service our AC a few years ago when we were having some trouble with the unit. They were able to get things working and offered advice keeping it running without taking on more costly repairs and replacement expenses at that time. This summer our HVAC fully stopped. We called Excel. Very responsive. Were able to come take a look and schedule to come back with a full system replacement that week.
They used Trane equipment, which was a big upgrade from our bargain unit the house came with. They did the whole AC unit, furnace and coils in a single morning. Clean work. Professional. Very happy with the new system over the past month.
