Dropped off a wool peacoat to be dry cleaned. I was wearing it up until I dropped it off, fit fine when I dropped it. When I picked it up, it had clearly shrunk. They sent it out again, when I picked it up again, it was still shrunken. The woman retrieving my jacket asked if I had gained weight. ? In the 3 days they had it the first time? Anyway, goodbye 1k peacoat, I will never use them again.
EDIT: I purchased the same exact jacket that they shrank, and I wish I could post a picture here, but the one they handled is a good 1.5 inches shorter in both arm length and body length. Please don't use these folks for expensive things.

*update, this place is even more fantastic than I initially experienced; I just can’t believe how quick and efficient their work is. They saved my tardy self hardcore twice in a row for major events.
Fantastic business and incredible service!!!! I just can’t believe that they were able to tailor my husband’s suit within a few days of dropping it off, and at a reasonable price! I highly recommend this place and was thrilled to find it!

Excellent tailoring—wife had jeans taken in, and you can’t even tell. Yes, the dry cleaning costs more than Zips, but the outcome is far superior. She had a suit jacket cleaned at Zips twice and it looked rumpled and terrible. Had it cleaned here and it looks brand new.

Dropped off a number of items for dry-cleaning, including 2 dresses for alterations & dry cleaning. The first dress was supposed to be let out 2". PIcked it up a few days later brought it home, and it fit EXACTLY like it did before I took it in. After a LOT of back/forth and owner absolutely insisting that the dress had been altered, she finally confessed that the seamstress couldn't let it out more than 1/8". I asked why wasn't I notified and what was I paying $50 for exactly, at which point-and with quite a bit of attitude, I was offered a credit back on my card. I am still sure the dress was not touched at all as evidenced by the intact seams with absolutely no trace of alterations. The second dress was altered correctly, but as I started packing for a wedding, I noticed the original creases from the packaging it came in, and steamed it myself. I clearly paid for dry-cleaning I did not receive on that dress. A light colored spring coat that I also dropped off for dry cleaning (same trip) came back with spots still on it. When I pointed it out, the owner replied, "fine - I'll have them do it again, but no guarantee..." I picked up the coat today and it's not perfect, but definitely re-done. Expensive and not at all reliable. UPDATE: Adding insult to injury, the owner's response accuses ME of being dishonest. I stand by every single word in my review.
