“My experience with Dogwood Acres was wonderful. It is the best boarding facility I have experienced in 20+ years. The staff are so caring, they took incredible care of my baby who refused to eat when she first got there. They have a lots of different activities for dogs with different needs. For example, our dog has a CcL that needs repair and cannot be in an all day play group, but she loves other dogs and likes having opportunities to interact. Dogwood Acres has a program where dogs can have small group play time. Ginger also loves to walk and they have a beautiful facility with walking paths so she could go out and sniff. This is a fabulous place with an attentive staff, great communication, and many options.

My only complaint is I with they were closer! It’s a long way from NOVA in the summer.”

“We just completed our training with Heidi and I can't tell you how great our experience has been. As senior citizens we recently acquired a rather rambunctious yellow lab named Piper who along with us was in desperate need of learning how to walk on a leash without dragging us down in the ditch every time she saw a squirrel. With Heidi's guidance we are not only able to enjoy walks through the neighborhood but can also take Piper on visits to the local stores that welcome dogs. I highly recommend her services. Heidi, we couldn't have done it without you.”

“I had concerns for years about using an electric fence. Moving to a new home though we had no choice as our dogs were jumping over a very tall physical fence. Lester was AMAZING! I felt total confidence the second he came over. He was gentle with the dogs. He trained out dogs so sweetly. Within one week we had three trained dogs that could finally explore 6 acres freely. I’m so thrilled now to watch our pups run happy and free thanks to Lester!”
