We have now been coming to K9 for the past couple of months. In the past we have only had rescues (working breed mix/water type breed) we never used trainers and did a lot of diy but only because they came established with potty training and basic commands. This time around because we are starting out with our first puppy (12 wks) who is also a working dog we wanted to make sure we didn’t miss any steps in order to do right by him. The puppy class that we started with is WORTH IT. But you really have to be committed and the trainers definitely make sure to explicitly speak to you about this and the expectations are clearly laid out.
