Despite all of the negative reviews I always have a very pleasant professional experience at Claudia’s Dominican salon. I have been going to her for years in between protective styles for a wash deep condition and blow out with trim. She recently did my hair this past weekend and I took out braids less than 24 hours prior to arriving she took time to carefully detangle my hair & blew it out so well! I would never let anyone else do my hair but her she’s absolutely amazing.
Claudia is an excellent hair stylist. She is careful with my hair, attentive, and has reasonable prices. I always leave her salon feeling beautiful. I can't recommend her salon enough.
I’ve been going to Claudia’s for about 15 years. I have long/medium length hair and periodically I’ll see large areas of hair that have been snapped off either because of the metal roller clasps or Claudia brushing my hair too hard while wet. Any and every time I would ask her about the areas of hair missing, she’d blame me for it. First she said it was because I put color in it, so for 6 months I didn’t touch and let her do it. Even with that, I’d see large pieces of hair missing in the back or on the top. This time when I confronted her about it she blamed me for using setting lotion. Absolutely ridiculous.
