Our experience with Durable Slate has been excellent, from the initial inquiry for a roof inspection and price quote right through to completion. The roof specialist who checked our roof took whatever time we needed to answer our questions about the types of slate best suited to our roof, what would be done and the time required. Customer Service was easy to reach and the men who did the work were careful to make sure that we understood everything they were doing.
Our inspector, Edwin was honest and quite knowledgeable. He said our slate was Buckingham slate, about the best quality slate you can get. In contrast to another company, which told us there was hail damage and we could get a whole new roof through our insurance company, Edwin said our roof was in good shape and could go another 100 to 200 years with minimal repairs after this. He suggested capping the ridges with copper and replacing some broken slates. The price seemed reasonable for our area. The workers were efficient and polite. The work done seems of good quality.
