My family has had great experience with Winter Place and the staff. They were very compassionate when we had to put our Lilly down over a year ago and have been helping up with some skin issues with our Puppy Charlie. Getting an appointment can take some time but I almost always get a call for a cancellation and I get in a lot sooner. They seem very organized. Highly recommend.
I highly recommend Winter Place Animal Hospital. I have been going there for about 7 years now. I have nothing but great things to say. The whole staff is professional, kind, and courteous. My dogs love going to the vet because they get a lot of attention. Dr. Schroen performed emergency surgery on my pitbull for GDV two years ago, and they took such good care of her in a stressful dire situation. My pug Jelly would probably live there if I let her and my newly adopted pitbull was treated like gold today. They are always transparent about any procedures, medicines, and what the best route is for your pet.
After a visit to Pets ER and post surgery, my cat was transferred to Winter Place for post-op monitoring and let me just say, he was in great hands! The staff is friendly and eager to help the animals coming through their doors, and are quick to help clients with recommendations and answering any questions post-op.
