Based on the reviews, The Valley is an amazing facility with an amazing program and staff. The staff, including counselors, techs, nurses, and the owner, are supportive and loving, and they definitely know what works. The facility is fantastic, especially for a program that accepts Medicaid, and is honest and upfront, with the focus on recovery. Patients came in as an alcoholic and left a sober person with tremendous tools to stay sober. The Valley changed lives for the better, providing the best gift ever. The staff were kind enough to accommodate a service dog, and everyone was awesome. While the staff provides strong support, success depends on a person's willingness to put in the work and follow the rules. If someone does, they can achieve great results. The experience helps people grow and reflect on necessary changes. The Valley is highly recommended to anyone in need of starting a new way of life. For those needing help, the advice is clear: go to The Valley.
The Valley Residential Program in Rockville, MD is an incredible place for addiction recovery. I worked there as a Behavioral Health Technician in summer 2024 and saw firsthand how much the community, staff, and faith-based support help people heal. If you or a loved one needs a 28-day program, I truly recommend The Valley—it works.
The Valley is a great program for those who truly want recovery... Again I stress, it's for those who truly want recovery! I recently left the Valley and I am at a sober living home that the Valley pointed out to me..... I am now going on a little over 4 months clean! I have not had one relapse! My short term goal is 6 months and I'm almost there! My long term goal is 1yr..... Some other people from the Valley are here with me and are doing well also. The Valley gave me all the tools I needed and prepared me for my step down program! The staff and counselors including the nursing staff were very helpful to me.... The counselors took the time to make sure that I was happy with my after care plan and that it met my needs, and the nursing staff took the time with me by making sure my meds were working for me and if they needed any adjustments..... And on top of all of that the food was good!👍 This place I would definitely recommend to other friends and family that I know that wants help with addiction.....
