After working for 8 years as a Disney artist, I finally found a place that offers the best artist development in the area!!! Glen and his teachers offer such excellent instruction and are sooooo encouraging to every one they teach. It is a kind and welcoming place. I started taking a few classes years ago and have never left. It is a joyful place!!

I have a studio at Compass and have yet to take a class, however the work of the students speak to the quality of these classes. There is such a variety of courses and workshops which cover traditional, foundational art techniques, as well as many different artistic mediums and styles; there truly is something for everyone. Even with a bachelors degree in fine arts I still plan to take classes here and am excited to learn from the knowledgeable instructors.

I have taken classes and workshops with Compass Director, Glen Kessler over the years. Glen sets a rigorous learning program, makes room for beginner to advanced skill levels and everyone feels the creative flow and has a blast! When Glen follows through on his vision and instinct there is assured success. The expanded space in Kensington permits much more space for many more classes (for adults and children), exhibition space, affordable live model figure drawing sessions, artists studios, visiting artist workshops, private events and more.
