My daughter in-law was scheduled here for out-patient surgery Feb. 13, 2024 . I had the duty of driver and watching my 6 year old great grand daughter. We waited in Out-Patient-Surgery waiting lounge. The Sullivan Waiting Lounge. I simply cannot say how wonderfully the staff in charge of the area treated myself and great grand daughter. It was a complicated and time consuming surgery but the women here helped the time pass pleasurably for her and myself as well. They actually gave her a pretend job working behind the counter so I could take a few 5 minute breaks. Trust me, being 77 plus a kidney and heart patient, I needed those breaks. Of all the hospitals I have been to over the years, Shady Grove will be the one that stays in my heart and mind. It isn't just a Health Care Facility. It is a "WE REALLY CARE FACILITY".
