My son took an SAT crash course this fall. The structure of the course seemed efficient, my son said he liked his tutor, attended all sessions and did what was assigned, but we were not happy with the results. He was tested 3 times during the 6 week crash course and his scores barely changed; I communicated with the owners myself and was hoping for much better results from this crash course.
On real SAT he got 2 Math questions from the topics that were not touched during the crash course.

I can’t say enough good things about my son’s experience with Capital Educators. He took a class with Pat Mahon and even had some one in one extra help sessions with him for a second test and his score went up 300 points from his diagnostic test to his 3rd.

Highly professional outfit who know their stuff extremely well and provide expert preparation and guidance throughout the entire college application process in a group setting. Subsequent communication and advice is personalized and fast. All in all, I have been very impressed by Phil Pine's in-depth knowledge of how college admission offices operate and what high school students need to do to succeed. Attend his presentations when you have a chance; they're superb.
