Patients report having the best care, with staff who are focused on individual issues and respond directly and accurately to inquiries. Therapists assess needs and draw up plans to help patients use and understand helpful strategies, leading to improved understanding and progress. The nurses are all excellent, including their assistants, and the physical and occupational therapists are also excellent. The meals are delicious. While the ER doctor gave sound advice and nurses attended to needs, some doctors changed heart medication without approval, causing dangerously high blood pressure, though nurses intervened to correct this. Overall, the team provides care and explains every step toward healing, treating patients with much care.

Adventist HealthCare Rehabilitation at Shady Grove was excellent in every way possible! My stay lasted two full weeks. During that time I was given top-notch care by every doctor, nurse, assistant, physical therapist, and occupation therapist. The recreational therapist provided various opportunities for patients to participate in during their stays. Cleanliness was of utmost importance in all areas of the facility. I felt totally secure during my stay, as safety was instilled in all caregivers. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone needing in-patient acute rehab.
