I was on-time for my appointment. The lady got started on my hair right away which I loved. My hair was done nice and neat. My problem is the person that was doing my hair act as if she had a problem with combing it all rough when it was already combed. It was very unprofessional. Combing my hair with an attitude. Then talking about my hair how she not doing that no more. In her language. Also act as if I didnt understand her talking about my size of my body. When I laughed no aoplogy or anything. She know I understood I let her finished my hair. Then she walked away as if I smelled funny which I didn't or didn't want to stand near me. My advice to the shop and every shop is.... be mindful on how you talk about people in your language. Don't think customers not understanding what was said about them. We bring you business and is expecting to be treated with respect. Im sure all braiding shops over charge in some way. Think as if us Americans not knowing any better. I was not over charged. Inside was very well organized and neat had everything ready to go for you. My reason for low score is lack of respect. You ever know who you are dealing with when given business to someone. I will come back for another style.

Wow wow love my hair, I love Marliz’s and her team they wonderful. The place is peaceful, my hair is neat. Long and small for great prices this is my 4th times here. Guys if your want to get your hair done please please check Marliz’s hair braiding shop.

I love this place, not only were the employees nice but it made me feel like i was at home, I was treated with care and respect also with great conversations. “Trust me they will not keep you bored.” Now on to the braiding part I got 2 Strand twist done, It was quick and perfect, provided with wash and blow dry. I have had my Twist in for about a couple months now and they haven’t been fuzzing like other hair salons I go to. I rate this Braiding company a 10/10!! And i will most definitely come back to get my re-twist. ???

Had an appt at 8. No one showed or called until I called. Now they need 15 mins running late. After waiting 45 mins, no one showed. Very unprofessional. I was not late. I called before my appt to confirm and no one answered. Yes. She did call me back but by this time I’m outside the building. Would not recommend

Ridiculously expensive with a terrible hair-do.
While washing your hair, they use the dirtiest of towels and you have water dripping all over you.
Overall, the experience left me feeling bitter and I would not recommend.

This is the "Best" braiding hair salon in the DMV!!! I travel a great distance rain sleet or snow to come here.
