    When I first adopted my mastiff mix (Cane Corso, Presa Canario, Bullmastiff, etc.) in late 2023, I struggled to maintain consistency with obedience training and also reactivity issues. I found Wilde Acres in my search for dog trainers, and I decided to go with them because: Carter and his team have extensive and evidenced knowledge in canine behavior and training methods, the numerous training classes and programs offered, and the land they have for training (~7 acres).     Desperately needed help with my pitbull Zeus. 60lbs of muscle that I needed help with walking. My son is the usual walker, but his new job had me needing to step up. I refused to be turned into a meme with Zeus dragging me around.
    After having an initial training session to see how things would be, I quickly purchased the 5 pack training sessions. Molly was our trainer and she was an absolute joy. She was very knowledgeable and relatable. I never felt dumb asking questions and she kept making sure I was understanding the process.     Our 1-year-old Brittany, Puck, came home rock-solid on two primary training objectives--heel and come when called. That not only makes our job easier, it means she is now experiencing the joy of running freely around our property. We are extremely pleased. Lead trainer Cam Bell and his Wild Acres colleagues also started Puck on formal bird dog lessons, and while there's more to do, we're on the right track. The design and cleanliness of WA kennel is first-rate, but most important is that the folks working there are consummate pros.
