I have been training under Grandmaster Huang for over 40 years. The feeling during and after working out is amazing and refreshing. The 8 hour drive is worth it. If your closer there's no reason why you shouldn't take advantage of the knowledge, instruction and skills that the instructors have to offer.

My son joined U.S. Kuo Shu Academy 1 year ago, & I couldn't imagine him practicing/learning anywhere else. The way in which the instructors are beyond dedicated & personable with the students is so amazing. I greatly appreciate Master Huang for ensuring my son's continuance & elevation at U.S. Kuo Shu Academy. I greatly appreciate Ms. Haley giving my son private lessons & for Shi Fu Anderson's evaluation. My son started during the pandemic, took classes virtually, & thrived rapidly. Due to the instructors vigilance & guidance, my son was able to advance quickly. Again, I'm so grateful to U.S. Kuo Shu Academy and the value in which everyone involved has added to my son's growth. I highly recommend U.S. Kuo Shu Academy.

I have studied martial arts since I was 13 off an on. Spent a lot of time trying to find the right fit for me. Until I found myself at US Kuo Shu Academy in Owings Mills one day. That one day turned into 8+ years and it has been great. Master Huang takes a complete approach to teaching martial arts. While training to be a black sash he makes sure that training your body is only PART of the process. Master Huang is also interested in developing character within each student. He wants to develop leaders not just black sashes. A side from learning martial arts I had a goal to be healthier and lose weight. During my time at the academy I have lost 70lbs along with increased mobility and flexibility. The academy has become an integral part of my life, it has such a family atmosphere it makes learning martial arts easier. I couldnt imagine not being apart of the academy.
