“Alan did a great job of photographing a 5 x 6 foot painting of mine that is in a collector's home in Baltimore. It was a difficult painting to shoot because of size and detail. Alan's price was comparatively low and he offered the service of picking up and returning the painting to the client. I live in Los Angeles. I was asking friends and acquaintances for referrals in Baltimore for fine art photography and scanning and they were all at $100 - 150 more than Alan and did not provide transportation arrangements. I even called some frame stores and arts spaces to get referrals. Yelp is very popular in Los Angeles for locating services, restaurants, and other businesses. To me it's the most reliable and most indispensable way to choose a new business besides word-of-mouth from friends. I'm happy to help Alan get on the Yelp map in his town.”
