I came down to the Ocean and forgot my pets medication. I called my Vet from home who sent me a prescription to get filled here. They told me the couldnt fill my prescription. I also asked if I can have my pets file transferred over to them .They said no. So tell me where does one go in a case of a medication emergency....very disappointed.....I'm sure they are great in other emergencies just not for medication emergency

Twenty years ago, we moved to Ocean Pines, Md from Venice, Florida. Dr. Maniatty and his wonderful staff did not know us at all, but when our first Ocean City veterinarian refused to provide an emergency appointment for our Westie, Duffer, we called Dr. Maniatty. We thought Duffer had broken his leg, and we were desperate for veterinary care. Fortunately, Duffer had a luxating patella that was readily repaired by Dr. Maniatty's expertise. We have been with Dr. John Maniatty and his personable and professional staff ever since, and they have cared for six of our Westies: "Duffer" and "Divot", a brother and sister pair, "Lily" and "Daisy", two sisters we had adopted from Maryland Westie Rescue at the age of 12 years, and "Razzie" and her grandmother "Gwennie". Throughout all of their lives, we have received the "best of the best" veterinary care. Dr. John and his gracious and competent staff have always been there for us whenever we call or just show up! We recently had to euthanize the last of our beloved Westies, Razzie, and she is now in Heaven at the Rainbow Bridge with all of her loved ones. We could not have asked for better care for all of them, and we highly recommend Dr. John and Precious Paws Animal Hospital as THE best veterinary care we have ever received in Maryland, Florida, New Jersey and Manhattan. Veterinary care doesn't come any better than this. Thank you, Dr. John and Staff, for all the years of excellent care!

We live on Chincoteague- an hr away from OCMD. Our 12yr old lab Si had cancer and took a bad turn basically over night. Our normal vet couldn’t get us in until the next day to put him down. I called Precious Paws and they told me they could end his suffering in just an hour. Basically the time it took me to get to them. We were met with compassion and care like we had been their patient for years. I could not be more grateful for the love we were shown today ❤️ I will likely move my other dogs to their practice.

Had my dog down with me for a few days to ocean city md . He had an allergic reaction with hives and face swelling . This practice was wonderful and fair in price . They contacted my home vet and treated my dog lovingly! Saw me right away!

The place was clean The staff was very nice and pleasant . The doctor was very knowledgeable and very good with my pet all concerns were taken care of me and my pet are very happy 5 stars

We had to take our dog Isla here. Because she cut her front paw on glass. She needed numerous stitches and staples. The whole staff here were amazing. Super friendly and great at what they do.

Dr. Maniatty and the staff at Precious Paws were wonderful during a very difficult time. Our senior English Bulldog, Cannoli, was having trouble breathing and instead of making the 3 1/2 hour drive home or having to drive to Salisbury they were able to get us in and check her out as an emergency visit.
Unfortunately, after some tests we did not get the news we wanted and we had to make the hardest decision that pet owners make. She was a rescue and we only had 3 short years with her but Dr. Maniatty and Larissa (sp?) as well as the rest of the staff were kind and patient as we spent the last hour with our girl and said our very difficult goodbyes.
We own a house in Ocean Pines and always have our dogs with us so knowing that such amazing people staff Precious Paws is a relief.
