Salon by the Bay is a very welcoming and cozy hair salon that also offers nail services. I see Micalina for my hair care needs and I have been faithfully seeing her for over a year. I have fine long curly hair that needs the roots done every 4 weeks (I'm like 40% gray). Micalina is an absolute gem. She never tangles and rips on my hair when brushing or blowing out, which is incredible since most hair stylists I've had just do not know how to deal with fine hair. She also takes the time to get to know you and your preferences, so well in fact that I have been able to ask her how I would like something (layers) and she knew me well enough to say that I would hate them (and I absolutely believe she is right). She takes incredible care of my hair, and trust me I am picky. I take very good care of my hair, it's one of my most prized features, and Micalina is someone who has earned my loyalty and respect for how well she treats me and my hair. Hands down highly recommend. She's great at anything she has ever done for me (all over color, roots, cut) and she's super sweet and friendly.
