Eventhough there was a lot of issues since work started June on 2021 we were not going to write a bad review. We thought to let it go and move on..But today, we decided to write this , almost an year after the repairs finished because we are still paying a plumber to repair after what they did.1..few months later they finished, we noticed sewer smell coming out of the master bath drain. I really wanted to leave a good review and had high hopes for our project with this company but unfortunately our experience was a disaster. We went with this company based on our initial meeting with the owner and all of the stellar reviews and awards we read about. I don’t know if it’s the pandemic or just growing pains, but our experience was not in line with the positive reviews we read. The positives: Everyone was very nice, but that doesn’t make up for the overall bad experience. The issues we had were discussed with the owner and he did knock a small amount off our final balance due. The price was also a positive, but in hindsight I would have paid more to have a better experience. If you are ok with managing every minuscule detail of your project and going behind to fix mistakes every day, dealing with delays due to poor time management and scheduling, then this company might be a good fit for you. Otherwise, you will be extremely frustrated and disappointed. The quality of work was subpar. A few examples: I had to re-caulk the shower within a few uses due to the terrible job they did; Paint should be the easiest part of the project but it had to be completely redone then still touched up again no less than 5 times; Basic things like cuts around flooring and trim were inaccurate and sloppy; doors were hung crooked and doorknobs not secured (literally fell off in our hands). No trim was installed around the edge of the stairs and around the exit door until I pointed it out and specifically asked. The list was endless. The original crew walked off the job at about a month in, right after framing was complete. The manager of the crew told my husband he would love to be working on our project every day but the company wouldn’t let them and he couldn’t keep his crew working on such a limited basis. One major issue at the very beginning was that no door was drawn into the plans to even access the HVAC closet, so to service or replace the HVAC unit I suppose the plan was to bust through the wall. Fortunately we monitored the framing process and pointed it out. Communication throughout the project was nonexistent. We never had advance notice about when the crew would show up and they typically only worked a few hours each week…not a few hours a day, a few hours a week. At one point the electrician was scheduled even though the ceiling grids weren’t in place and he couldn’t do his part without the grids. The owner was at the house installing the grid structure the day prior so he knew it wasn’t ready for the electrician but he wasn’t notified. Several guys showed up to install flooring only to leave immediately because painting wasn’t done and there was debris laying around. Poor planning all around.

Don’t touch this company with a ten foot pole. The workers only stay until 2-3pm each day, they don’t come prepared so there end up being multiple trips and breaks. Because of this the work took longer than quoted I was out of a shower in a single bathroom home for an additional week, paying for a hotel room to shower. I found multiple areas of missing grout that had to be filled in with caulk since the grout had dried. The sink leaked right after instal. The bathtub drain wouldn’t close and the worker informed me they didnt think it would close when they installed it but they didnt check or tell me.
