I’ve been here once before and the service was great. However, for this time, my braids are extremely heavy. The braiders were also really rough with my hair and my braids were tight. They also tried to used disinfectant spray to “clean” a comb. That’s not the proper way to disinfect a comb when it has been used in multiple heads.
This is my second time to this shop and they are the best! The first time I had French Curls and it turned out gorgeous. This time I lost close to half my hair due to plaque psoriasis. I brought my own hair and jam as my scalp is very sensitive. They listened and were gentle. I left with my hair looking gorgeous again and you cannot tell I have a hair problem. Sophie and Jewel were awesome. The staff is pleasant. This is my place for braiding. I will not be going anywhere else!.
I paid $260 for boho knotless braids, but that is not what I received. Many of my braids are actually box braids, including my edges. I was told my edges were too short, but I’ve been getting knotless braids for years and have never had that issue.
I usually leave braid appointments feeling lightweight, but this time my hair feels very heavy, overly tight, and my scalp is already starting to bump. There is also an excessive amount of product in my hair.
I chose this shop because I didn’t have time for a long appointment, and while I was in and out in about three hours, the quality clearly suffered.
