His Dukeness is co-patentee with Larry Sifel (deceased) the founder of Pearlworks in Charlotte Hall, MD, of the laminated shell sheets known as Abalam. Sales at the Ducal Nacretory are managed by Her Worshipful Pearlkeep Lady Ellen Aulson, who also at the same location manages Aulson Inlay (specialists in CNC inlay design and cutting for small shops as well as the largest factories).
