Jim is down to earth and does a professional job. He replaced a wood floor for me with reclaimed heart pine--just beautiful. You can trust him with a key to your house, and he will finish on time and on budget.

We had a great experience working with Jim and his crew. We had just purchased our home and needed the entire main floor and upstairs to be painted prior to moving in. Jim was able to accommodate us within short notice and his crew worked diligently and effectively over the course of 3 days to complete the job. It was especially critical that the work be completed timely as we had scheduled for the floors to be refinished after the painting. They were clean and meticulous with the work, making sure that all repairs to walls were done prior to painting. Jim has done several projects at my house in Washington, D.C. Jim always provided accurate estimates, performed the work exactly as promised, and met his deadlines. I was completely satisfied with Jim's work every single time. And I recommend him without qualification to my friends and colleagues!
