The loc journey is individual and gives something different to each person. Tammy was recommended through a friend who I've watched her locs blossom into beauty and elegance. I just started my locs in June with Tammy, so I'm early on, but this review is about the styling she did for me for a wedding I was a part of. Tammy figured out, on the spot, how to integrate synthetic locs into my hair to achieve the style. My goodness did it turn out wonderful! I'm still wearing it 3 weeks later and still receiving compliments.
This was my first time at this natural hair salon. I have traditional locs and I needed them styled. Tammy was my loctitian. She was kind, knowledgeable, and quick. It took less than 45 minutes. She also ensured I was happy with the finished look. The salon is clean and in an enjoyable space (nice TV). It was a little hard to find since it was my first time, but I arrived 10 minutes early for that reason. Only took me 2 minutes to find. Definitely not an issue, but putting it out there. I highly recommend going to this salon.
A special thank you to Tammy for taking the time to answer all my questions and ensuring I felt completely comfortable starting my natural hair journey, and Fellon for her gentle care from washing to styling my hair, which turned out even better than I imagined. The professionalism and genuine care shown by both ladies were truly impressive, and I will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!
