I give Laurel MedStar 4 stars because I never give any one or thing 5 stars. I have been a patient of this practice since 2007 having previously utilized a Family practice in northeastern Montgomery County where the waiting room was always "standing room only". SOP at that practice was overschedule and pack them in. Laurel MedStar is the opposite. The longest I have waited for a doctor there is 15 minutes. If for any reason your physician is unable to see you, another physician steps up to help you. Please keep in mind however that my experience with Laurel Internal Medicine was overwhelmingly prior to the practice becoming associated with MedStar. I have noted the low grades some reviewers assign to this practice, almost all coming since MedStar became the umbrella organization for this once great patient-oriented practice. I have my concerns about that as well. Not only was there a change is some administrative procedures but in non-medical staff as well. Why did all those great staff leave? ...almost overnight?

I have been utilizing the services of Laurel Internal Medicine since November 1991. There have been name changes of the years to accommodate the additional physicians on site. I had to schedule a virtual appointment for Dr. Lalitha Tadikonda. The process is fairly simple. The staff at Laurel Internal Medicine have always been friendly towards me. Excellent customer service.

Staff has always been kind and pleasant. Office is always clean. Nurse Practitioner Mary O'brien is attentive to your needs and situation. I would recommend this office to anyone who is searching for a private doctor.
