Massage in Lanham

“I love this place and the people, so this review is truly meant as constructive feedback to help them smooth out their couples' experiences!

I first came here about three weeks ago solo and had an amazing, 5/5 experience. It was so good that I immediately booked and pre-paid for a couples' massage and spa lunch for my husband for Father’s Day.

The staff and the owner are incredibly nice, pleasant, and welcoming (plus they have the cutest little dog!). However, the couples' experience had a few hiccups that took away from the overall relaxation:

The Room Size: We chose to be in the same room, but the space was too tight for two tables. I actually had the same amazing masseuse from my first visit, but she couldn’t perform the massage as well because she was physically cramped and struggling to squeeze around the side of the table. If you're going as a couple, I'd recommend separate rooms here.

Service Flow & Communication: The two young ladies working with us seemed a bit confused about the next steps. They weren't sure if we should dress or stay in our robes for lunch. Also, the red light therapy was set up and we were told we were getting it, but then it was skipped over until I brought it up. The owner graciously stepped in later to clear up the confusion, and they even gifted us a larger bottle of champagne to smooth things over, which we really appreciated.

The Vibe: The presentation of the lunch was beautiful, though the food was a bit chilly. Also, the staff began cleaning and moving the massage tables out of the room right in front of us while we were trying to wind down, which broke the spa ambiance a bit.

I didn't want to bring it up on Father's Day because the team is so genuinely sweet and apologetic, and I didn't want to ruin the vibe. The place itself is great and the customer service is absolutely there—they just need a smoother standard protocol (SOP) for handling couples' packages so the transition between massage, lunch, and amenities runs seamlessly.

I still highly recommend them for their kindness and solo services, and I really hope this feedback helps them perfect their couples' packages!“

“I just had the Itchy scalp treatment at Lola Rosa in Lanham. Jasminn provided me with so much care! I had never been to a head spa before, but it was recommended to me, so I thought I would check it out. It was one of the most relaxing treatments I have ever had. Jasminn personalized the products she used for me based on my scalp analysis. She made sure the room was the perfect temperature and kept checking in with me to make sure I was comfortable. The scalp massage was wonderful. The products had that wonderful tingly feeling and everything smelled so good. I could sit under the water halo all day. It was so relaxing. She also included a wonderful shoulder massage at the end. She texted me the products she used at the end with a link to purchase them on Amazon. If you are looking to treat yourself, check out this business!“
