I have taken my 5 years old special needs son to a LOT of barbershops,but this is my last stop as long as CJ is here!!!!! As soon as we walked in the first time , he made us feel welcome . I always tell people up front before we sit in their chair . Some barbershops have rejected us immediately, he welcomed us with open arm . He was very talented, my son was everywhere, but CJ was patient and moved to his beat. I loved him so much , I came back multiple times , and brought my whole family to him! Everyone who works here is great , but he is a GOD send!!! I would highly recommend this barbershop to anyone in this area!!!
I was in District Heights, Maryland to visit my sister for her birthday and also to handle some business in the DMV area. My business took longer than I thought and that put me behind schedule from getting to my next stop, my hometown of Flint, Michigan. My plan was to get a haircut there from barber that I have know for years. Now that I was stuck in DC an extra couple days I needed to get a haircut before I arrived at my next stop. One of my cousins told me to call this barbershop and ask for Sean.
I called and he said come now and you are next. I got there and within 15 minutes I was in his chair and he was working away. He was focused, meticulous, methodical, and giving all the attention he could to making sure my haircut was perfect. Toward the end of my haircut, he received a phone call and when he answered the phone, when he answered he said, “Baby we are about to be rich! Because this man is about to pay me a million dollars for this haircut!” I smiled, and then when he turned me towards the mirror….it was in fact a million dollar haircut. I wish I would’ve took a picture. But trust me he knows what he’s doing. Thank you, Kettering Barber Shop whenever I’m in the area I’m coming back
