They came highly recommended but have been unresponsive and I wasted a bit of valuable planting time waiting to hear back. I think my yard in Chevy Chase is not a big enough project for them? And they're really busy? I never heard back from them after calling to inquire the status. Oh well.

We worked with Shorb on a couple projects (so far). They did a bayscape with native plants and grasses, through DC's RiverSmart program They also planted a hedge along our fence to give us some privacy, restored our grass and addressed drainage issues/ redirected and buried our downspout so that it waters the front garden. This was last fall. This Spring we have a beautiful, relatively low maintenance yard.

We are satisfied customers after working with Shorb to reimagine and reconstruct our back patio and sidewalk. Our designer, Debbie, was a joy to work with, because she turned our nascent ideas into workable concepts and had deep experience working with Montgomery County's RainScapes program. This allowed us to maximize the value of environmental incentives to transform our backyard in a sustainable way. The crew that removed our battered concrete patio and installed our new permeable pavers in its place were top notch: friendly, timely, and professional craftsmen. We would work with Shorb again and recommend them to our friends.
